Epic Seven Guides
New Era onboarding, Hunt, gear, pity, and the PvP draft habits that actually climb.
Epic Seven in 2026 is still a gear gacha wrapped in a story RPG. The New Era update, Genesis Ras questline, Otherworldly Hunts, and the 8th anniversary freebies changed the first month, but they did not remove Hunt, Combat Readiness, or pity. This hub is the map. Read one page, then the sibling it points to — do not open every tab at once.
Start here if you installed today
- Getting started — Connections, Moonlight Blessing, energy rules, and the order of unlocks.
- Reroll and Selective Summon — infinite Selective attempts after 1-4, what to keep, when to bind.
- Claim working codes so Leifs are sitting in mail before you farm.
If you already own a six-month account and only came back for the anniversary, skip reroll. Jump to summons so the 1,260 free Covenant pulls are wishlisted, then gear so Otherworldly Hunt drops are not sold by accident.
Combat and farming
Hunt is the real endgame for PvE accounts. Wyvern and Hunt covers the free Ice core (Furious, Sigret, Muwi, Angelica / Angelic Montmorancy), why you only need one clear before the game starts handing mission gear, and when Otherworldly Hunt replaces classic Wyvern 13 one-shots. Pair it with gear and equipment for sets, speed, equipment score, auto-sell, and the 8th anniversary charm payback.
Abyss is a vertical skill check, not a gear check at the start. Abyss floors is the how-to-complete page for the floors that stop new accounts, including the 2026 five-unit clears people actually copy. Paradise Lost is the 1st World side episode (Episode 1 Chapter 6 gate, three Kayron chapters, Kain boss) — story AP, not a second Abyss.
Gacha and PvP
Summons and pity explains Covenant wishlist (seven heroes, seven artifacts), 121 pity with no 50/50, Mystic, Galaxy, and the 2026 mileage track. Arena and World Arena covers automatic Arena versus real-time RTA and why you should not waste early molas on a cleave you cannot speed-tune yet. The Call of Chaos is the 3v3 Sentinel mode with Fate. Background Battling is the offline Hunt queue. Moonlight Blessing is the loaned Moonlight 5-star choice. Draft names belong on the PvP tier list.
How the guides connect
Every guide page links to its siblings on purpose. Reroll points at starters. Hunt points at gear. Gear points at the speed tuning tool and gear score. Arena points at moonlight and artifacts. If a paragraph tells you to open another URL, that is the next action, not decoration.
YouTube videos sit in the middle of the pages that have a real 2026 recording — beginner path, reroll, Hunt, gear optimizer, summons wishlist, RTA, Abyss. We do not invent IDs. If a topic has three overlapping videos, this wiki keeps one.
What these guides will not do
They will not list every hero. Use heroes and the tier list hub for names. They will not replace patch notes — that is updates. They will not tell you to buy a monthly pack. Epic Seven remains clearable as free-to-play if you respect Hunt and pity.
When Steam launches later in 2026, controls change (keyboard, mouse, controller) but the systems on these pages stay the same. The Steam guide only covers linking, worlds, and wishlist rewards.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers Heirs search for every patch.
Which Epic Seven guide should a new player open first?
Start with getting started, then reroll, then Hunt.
Do I still need to reroll in 2026?
Selective Summon is infinite after 1-4. Spend the extra minutes. The reroll page lists keepers.
Is Hunt still mandatory after Otherworldly Hunts?
Yes. You still unlock and clear Hunt. Otherworldly is the better farm once you can enter it.
Where do I learn pity?
The summons guide covers Covenant wishlist, 121 pity, Mystic, and mileage.
