Epic Seven Tier List Hub

Epic Seven has been live globally since 8 November 2018. The roster is large enough that a single S-to-F chart lies. This hub splits ranks by job: PvE hero rankings for story, Hunt, and Abyss; PvP hero rankings for Arena, RTA, and The Call of Chaos; Moonlight hero rankings for Galaxy and Mystic names. Treat every list as a September 2026 snapshot. Smilegate’s balance patches rewrite pick rates. A unit that farmed Wyvern last year can be a brick this month.

The names people screenshot from Pocket Gamer’s August 2026 PvE article (Salome, Perfumer Byblis, Hecate, Frieren, Genesis Ras, and the rest of that SS block) are a community snapshot, not an official ladder. We keep them because new accounts Google those strings. We do not keep them because Smilegate stamped SS on a character sheet.

How to use the three lists

1. If you still need a first Hunt clear, open the PvE list and the starter heroes page together. Rank without a Wyvern core is noise.
2. If you already one-shot a Hunt and want Arena medals, switch to the PvP list. Automatic Arena and real-time RTA do not share a team.
3. If a Moonlight 5-star is sitting in a selector or a Mystic pity, use the Moonlight list before you lock the name.

The heroes hub is the roster index. Rankings tell you who to promote. Hero pages tell you why. If you only have time for one unit article this week, read Lisette’s kit — she is the 8th anniversary Light Soul Weaver, and Time Reversal is a PvP rule, not a PvE farm trick.

What a letter grade actually means here

SS / S on PvE means the unit clears a job you already have: wave clear, boss execute, cleanse, or CR battery. SS / S on PvP means the unit is first-pick or first-ban in the current draft, or it hard-counters a first pick. A means the unit is real if you already built it. B and below means do not spend MolaGora until a patch note says otherwise.

Do not six-star every SS name. Penguins, catalysts, and molas are the scarce resource, not the letter. A six-star Furious with Daydream Joker will beat an unbuilt Salome in Hunt 13. The guides hub exists so you spend energy on the system that feeds the rank, not on the rank itself.

Anniversary and free-ish power

The 8th anniversary window (late August into October 2026) dumped Covenant pulls, a Moonlight selector track, and Lisette on Mystic. Uncharted Pioneer Politis arrives from 3 September 2026 on a Drop Rate Up banner. Genesis Ras is a strong Moonlight 5-star from a 2026 lobby questline — free-ish, not instant. None of those events freeze the meta. They only change who you can afford to build while the meta moves.

Steam’s store page opened on 22 August 2026; the client itself is scheduled for later in 2026. Keyboard and mouse do not buff Tamarinne. Rankings stay the same across iOS, Android, STOVE PC, and a linked Steam account because combat is still Combat Readiness, souls, and gear score.

Investment order that does not lie

1. One Ice Hunt core (Furious, Sigret from Hunt missions, Alexa, Angelica or Angelic Montmorancy).
2. One soul weaver you actually skill (Tamarinne from Connections, Destina from Selective, Angelica if that is what you own).
3. One farmer for sidestory AP (Vildred, Lena, or whoever already sits at six stars).
4. Then a PvP opener or a Moonlight name you will still play after the next patch.

If a YouTuber’s SS list disagrees with a Hunt timer, trust the timer. If RTA pick rates disagree with a blog’s PvE SS block, trust the pick rates for PvP and ignore them for Abyss. The three child pages on this hub exist so those two conversations stop sharing a table.

Refresh this hub after every balance patch and every Mystic rotation. The September 2026 snapshot is a map, not a contract with Smilegate.
