Epic Seven Hero Artifacts

Artifacts in Epic Seven are class-locked equipment with a unique passive. They are not “more Attack%.” A Hunt DPS with Daydream Joker at +30 will beat a Hunt DPS with a random 5-star exclusive at +0. A PvP opener with Song of Stars will take turns a Portrait of the Saviors opener cannot. Slot the job, then enhance. This page is the short list that shows up on real teams in 2026, not a museum of every 4-star.

Hunt and PvE staples

Daydream Joker (4-star, several classes): After attacking, extra damage based on the enemy’s max Health, stacking during the fight. This is the Wyvern / Banshee / Golem artifact. +30 it on the unit that hits the boss every turn (Alexa, Sigret, Furious if he is the one attacking, a Rage-set execute). It is not an Arena opener. If your Lisette is holding Joker, you are in the wrong mode.

Portrait of the Saviors (5-star): Extra damage to enemies at high or full Health. Cleave and some Hunt openers use it when the job is “kill them before they act,” not “stack Joker for six turns.”

Exorcist’s Tonfa / Uberius’s Tooth / Sword of Ezera: Class-specific damage or tank tools. Tonfa is a cheap dual-hit scaler. Tooth is a warrior proc. Ezera is a knight anti-cleave HP pool. Enhance the copy that is on a unit you already six-starred.

Soul weavers and knights

Magaraha’s Tome (4-star Soul Weaver): After a non-attack skill, push her own Combat Readiness. Tamarinne, Angelica, and other cycle healers live here until you own a 5-star staff you actually like. This is how a 200 Speed soul weaver still takes turns.

Rod of Amaryllis / Shimadra Staff / Touch of Rekos / Celestine: Heal amplifiers and cleanse-adjacent staffs. Amaryllis is the “I clicked a heal skill” scaler. Shimadra is team-wide healing. Rekos and Celestine are the 4-star comfort picks. Put one on the soul weaver you skilling from starters. Save the fancy exclusive for Lisette only if you actually queue her in PvP — her kit notes are on the Lisette page.

Aurius (4-star Knight): Share damage, raise party Defense. This is the knight artifact people mean when they say “put Aurius on him.” Adventurer Ras, a free knight, or whoever is the frontliner in Hunt and Abyss. Proof of Valor is the “I am the one getting cleaved” cousin. Do not run both ideas on a unit who is not taking the hits.

Elbris Ritual Sword: Counter on the knight when an ally is attacked. Dual-attack and counter teams, not Hunt 13.

PvP openers and mages

Song of Stars (5-star Ranger): The opener cliché. Combat Readiness support around the S3. Peira, Ran, and other ranger openers want this more than they want Joker. If you only own a 4-star CR artifact, use that until Song drops — do not park the ranger.

Tagahel’s Ancient Book (4-star Mage): Souls at battle start. Cleave mages exist to spend those souls on a soulburn S3. This 4-star has ended more Arena matches than most 5-star exclusives. +15 is enough to matter; +30 is luxury.

Time Matter, Abyssal Crown, Reingar’s Special Drink: Mage extras — cooldown cheat, stun chance, splash. Build them when the unit’s job is that extra, not as a default.

Rhianna and Luciella, Violet Talisman, Rosa Hargana: Thief extra-attack and evasion packages. Cleave and counter thieves, not Wyvern.

Enhancement order that does not lie

1. +15 Daydream Joker on the Hunt DPS. This is the first artifact you should feel bad about leaving at +0.
2. +15 Magaraha’s Tome or a heal staff on the soul weaver who keeps Hunt alive.
3. +15 Aurius on the knight who is actually taking hits.
4. +15 Tagahel’s Book when you start PvE-to-PvP crossover into Arena.
5. +30 only on the artifact that is still equipped after a month. Joker and Song are the usual +30 targets. A limited collab exclusive on a unit you never promote is a gold sink.

Covenant and Mystic summons drop artifacts on the same banners as heroes. Wishlist the 5-star artifact you will actually slot, using summons and pity. Do not 4-pity an exclusive for a unit who is still 5-star.

A +30 Daydream Joker on a Hunt DPS is worth more than a +15 limited on a unit you never promote.
