Epic Seven Steam Launch

Epic Seven is not an unreleased game. Global mobile and STOVE PC have been online since 8 November 2018. What opened on 22 August 2026 is the Steam store page for app 5019180. The Steam client itself is scheduled for later in 2026. This page answers the FAQ Smilegate posted with that store page: linking, worlds, matchmaking, prices, and controllers. Anniversary systems stay on 8th anniversary INFINITY. New-account onboarding stays on getting started.

Steam requires a STOVE third-party account and supports linking that STOVE login to Steam. Anti-cheat on the store listing is UNCHEATER. Family Sharing is listed. In-app purchases continue; this is still a free-to-play RPG with the same shop SKUs.

Store page versus client

Wishlist the store page now. That is the only Steam action that exists in August 2026 besides reading news posts. You cannot install a finished Steam build from that page yet. Playing today means the iOS / Android APK or the STOVE PC client you already use. When the Steam build ships, it is the same RPG: same heroes, same Hunt, same pity, same Arena ruleset, with keyboard, mouse, and controller on top.

A wishlist event ran from store-page day. Participation rewards were small (the published floor was 2 Leif for everyone who wishlisted, with extra currency at wishlist milestones). Treat it as mail, not as a reason to make a second account.

Account linking and transfer

If you already own a 2018–2026 email or SNS (Simple Login) account, transfer / link it to Simple Login (Steam). Smilegate’s Steam FAQ states:

  • Transfers can be done at any time; there is no short application window.
  • Progress is kept: unclaimed rewards, event items, and an in-progress Epic Pass travel with the account.
  • After the transfer, you play that same roster on Steam, STOVE PC, and mobile.

Do not start a fresh Steam guest, burn Selective Summon, then try to glue it onto the old phone account. The FAQ explicitly warns about people who began a new Steam save before transferring. Two characters are two characters. Linking is not a merge of two rosters.

Guest-only mobile installs still need a real STOVE login before Steam will have anything to attach. Bind email or SNS first, confirm the membership number, then follow the official transfer article when the client is actually downloadable.

New world and matchmaking

Steam is not locked to a new world. Official FAQ: you can play in both the new world and existing worlds. Most content is the same. Some features run on a different schedule or a different pool. The example Smilegate printed is World Arena matchmaking available only in the new world for a period — meaning new Steam starts get a separate RTA pool so they are not dropped into eight-year Champion lobbies on day one. Guild Wars follows the same idea for a while, then the pools merge. That new region is the first extra world in years.

If you transfer a veteran account, you are still a veteran. Separate matchmaking is for new Steam players, not a handicap for your 2018 speed contest units. Do not delete a built account to “play on the new server” unless you actually want a second progression. Arena habits for either world still match the Arena guide.

Cross-play, prices, requirements

Steam, STOVE PC, and mobile share the same gameplay with cross-play. System requirements for Steam match the existing STOVE PC client. There are no price differences between platforms. A monthly pack that costs X Skystones or Y local currency on the phone costs the same idea on Steam. Do not buy a “Steam exclusive” gear pack from a reseller; Smilegate did not publish a cheaper PC shop.

PC-only cosmetic SKUs that already existed on STOVE PC can appear on Steam. Mobile still sees the mobile catalog. That split is old. Steam did not invent it.

Controllers and Deck

Steam adds controller support as a first-class path: Xbox pads and DualSense are the stated baseline, with Joy-Con and Steam Controller support planned, and Steam Deck as a target once remaining PC-client quirks are gone. Turn-based menus map cleanly to a pad. Hunt auto-battle does not need a mouse. Drafting in World Arena is the mode to test before you take a pad into Champion.

Keyboard hotkeys were also called out in the anniversary interviews. If you already play STOVE PC with a mouse, nothing about your muscle memory is deleted.

Coupons, STOVE, and this wiki

Codes still redeem on the STOVE coupon page, not in the Steam overlay. Linked accounts share one membership number. Unlinked Steam guests need that number before how to redeem will credit anyone. Official news, coupons, and patch text remain on official links, not on Steam discussions.

What to do before the client ships

  1. Wishlist app 5019180 so you get the launch ping.
  2. Bind the mobile/PC account you intend to keep.
  3. Write down the STOVE membership number stored under Account Settings.
  4. Decide now whether you want the existing world (your guild, your RTA MMR) or a new-world start. You can access both after launch; you cannot fuse two rosters.
  5. Keep farming on the phone. Hunt gear does not wait for Steam.

When the download button finally appears, this page will gain the build date. Until then, “coming to Steam” means a store page and a transfer tool, not a new RPG. The 8th anniversary client you already installed on 27 August is the content you will be playing on Steam later in 2026.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers Heirs search for every patch.

Is Epic Seven available on Steam today?

The store page is live (22 August 2026). The client ships later in 2026. You can already play on iOS, Android, and STOVE PC — the game has been out since 2018.

Can I use my old mobile account on Steam?

Yes. Transfer the email or SNS login to Simple Login (Steam). Progress, mail, and Epic Pass carry over. Do not start a second guest first.

Do Steam players get cheaper packs?

No. Official FAQ: no price differences between Steam, STOVE PC, and mobile.

Will new Steam players be thrown into old RTA?

Not immediately. A new world runs separate World Arena matchmaking for a period, then merges. Veterans who transfer keep their existing-world identity.
