Epic Seven 8th Anniversary INFINITY

Smilegate titled the 8th anniversary INFINITY. The official showcase streamed on 22 August 2026. The client that actually changed your lobby landed 27 August 2026. If you installed this week, finish getting started before you spend a Moonlight selector or a Mystic stack. The anniversary is generous. It is also easy to waste on an unbound guest.

Paradise Lost (1st World)

Paradise Lost is a fully voiced side episode, the follow-up shape to last year’s Rain of Fading Embers. It is set in the 1st World, the earliest loop of Orbis: the planet that kept dying and being rebuilt. The episode is the human-days portrait of Kayron before he became an Acolyte of the End, and it is the stage for Lisette. Kain appears as a playable NPC, not a summonable hero — do not wait for a Kain banner that was never announced.

Story energy is separate from Hunt energy in practice: you can clear the episode without pausing Otherworldly farming. Watch it if you care about Diche, Kayron, and why Lisette’s kit is a rewind. Skip it if you only wanted the QoL buttons; the buttons do not hide behind a chapter gate. Chapter list, loaned heroes, and the Chapter 3 Kain boss live on the Paradise Lost walkthrough.

Epic Seven: Infinity Showcase (official 8th anniversary stream)

Lisette

Lisette is a 5-star Light Soul Weaver, sold as a Moonlight unit. Lore: a fragment of Goddess Diche who took a human shape to keep the world from ending. Combat: she starts with Divinity stacks, can spend them to turn dead allies into revive crystals, and — if Converged Time is cast while she still holds Divinity — Time Reversal resets every ally to the state they had right after the battle began.

That is a PvP sentence, not a Hunt sentence. Extinction and anti-revive kits (Briar Witch Iseria, Sinful Angelica, and similar) are the listed answers. Gear and draft notes belong on Lisette. Acquisition in the anniversary window was Mystic Summon plus the For the Sake of All Life pack. She is not the 20-pull-a-day Covenant unit.

Showcase watchers also received Lisette’s Ring of Eternal Bond with Speed 20 as mail, not as a coupon. If you missed the broadcast, that ring does not reprint on the STOVE form.

Uncharted Pioneer Politis (3 September 2026)

Uncharted Pioneer Politis is a scholar chasing the truth behind her home planet’s destruction, shown at the moment she first lands on Orbis in the 1st World. Smilegate put her on a Drop Rate Up starting 3 September 2026. Her role shifts with team placement; treat her as a different unit from classic Politis until you read the kit page. Do not dump the 1,260 Covenant pulls into a random pickup the week before she arrives if she is on your wishlist.

Background Battling and the bag

The quality-of-life half of INFINITY is why veterans actually logged in.

Background Battling now keeps running after you close the app. Duration is no longer a flat guess: it uses your recorded clear times. You can register a large Leif pile (showcase examples used up to 100 Leif, on the order of 400 runs). Start it on content you already one-shot. Do not background a 60% Wyvern.

Auto-sell and auto-extract for equipment arrived with the same client. Set thresholds before you AFK. Keep Otherworldly pieces out of the sell filter. Boots usually extract, they do not sell. The gear score page is the checklist; this patch is what made the checklist clickable in the result window.

An Equipment Charm Payback Event ran from 27 August for three weeks, returning a cut of invested EXP as Greater Charm Selection Chests. Ogre’s Armory was folded toward Hunt as Ogre Hunt on Otherworld difficulty, adding Reversal, Riposte, Warfare, and Pursuit as farmable sets.

The Call of Chaos

The Call of Chaos is a World Arena mode, not a replacement for ranked RTA. It is 3v3, arcade-paced: a short pick-ban (about a minute, a few rerolls), then a fight whose win condition is destroying the enemy Sentinel / Guardian. Mid-battle Fate choices buff allies or punish the other side. A run stops at 7 wins or 3 losses. You earn ranking points and shop currency. Use it to practice drafts without the full five-pick tax. Climbing Champion in classic RTA still follows the Arena guide.

Later: Dimensional Exploration

The showcase also announced Dimensional Exploration, Epic Seven’s first real roguelike: three heroes, departure supplies, node maps, relics, no entry ticket, seasonal ranking. It is not in the 27 August lobby as a finished mode. When it ships, it gets its own note. Until then, do not plan molas around a relic you have not seen.

1,260 summons, login skin, E7WC

From 27 August through 29 October 2026 the event UI pays 20 free Covenant summons every day. That is 1,260 if you do not skip. Missed days do not mail catch-up. Fill the seven-hero wishlist before you tap. Selectors on the companion milestone event (including a Natalon Academy Moonlight 5-star selector) are account-defining; park them until you have a plan.

Majestic New Moon Luna (the bunny-girl skin, 2025 popularity poll winner) is a login reward during the anniversary, not a coupon. Claim it on the character you actually play.

E7WC 2026 in-game qualifiers start 12 September. Finals are 28 November in Jamsil. Stream codes still redeem on STOVE.

1. Bind the account, then redeem the showcase batch on anniversary coupons.
2. Turn on offline Background Battling on a Hunt you already clear.
3. Set auto-extract so speed boots survive the bag.
4. Spend daily Covenant pulls on a filled wishlist, not on curiosity.
5. Read Lisette before you Mystic-pity a Soul Weaver you will not draft.

INFINITY is a live-service year, not a relaunch. The 2018 account is the same account. The new buttons just stop the game from demanding that you stare at Wyvern while it farms.
