Epic Seven x Chaos Zero Nightmare

Epic Seven’s September 2026 collaboration is Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN), Super Creative’s other collector RPG. It is not a Frieren rerun, not a random anime license, and not part of the 27 August INFINITY client. The 8th anniversary notes only teaser it. This page is the collab brief: who is coming, how they are obtained, what the town events do, and how that should change your bookmark wallet.

Official English materials name the trio Renoa, Haru, and Mei Lin. Some Korean and Japanese write-ups spell the third as Meyrin. Same character. If a shop label and a banner title disagree on vowels, they still spend the same limited pity.

When and why

Smilegate and Super Creative timed the collab for September 2026, after Lisette’s Mystic week and Uncharted Pioneer Politis’s 3 September Drop Rate Up. Producer comments during the anniversary press cycle were blunt: they picked launch-era CZN faces so Epic Seven players would recognize the names, and three units was what the production calendar could finish. Haru and Renoa were called out for cutscene quality; Mei Lin for hit feel.

Story hook: a Chaos Gate opens on the SS Nightmare, and the three crash-land on an unknown planet — Orbis. The short collab PV follows Renoa trying to raise Nightmare, Haru taking responsibility as deputy director, and Mei Lin showing Directional Tribe martial arts. You do not need to have played CZN to summon. You do need to know which of the three is free and which two are limited.

The three heroes

Free does not mean “ignore the kit.” A collab Moonlight still occupies a roster slot, still wants molas, and still shows up in RTA as a known name. Limited does not mean “must pity on day one.” Read the summons guide for how limited pity, Covenant wishlist, and Mystic interact so you do not spend the 1,260 anniversary Covenant pulls on the wrong banner. Covenant daily summons will not print Haru.

Until in-game skill text is live, do not copy CZN card decks into Epic Seven gear sets. Element, role, and soulburn will be Epic Seven rules. Use the heroes hub once the units have pages, and the tier list hub once people have actually drafted them. Showcase footage is not a win-rate.

Witchaven events and shops

The collab is not only three portraits.

• Epione Center / Counseling Center lands in Witchaven (Witch Haven). In CZN that desk treats crew mental breakdowns after expeditions. In Epic Seven it is the event hub you click every day.
• Delang, the Chaos shop NPC, visits to sell CZN-themed goods translated into Epic Seven items: collab gear, event currency, and whatever the patch notes list when the shop opens.
• Side missions and a themed shop run for the duration. Event currencies expire. Spend them before the banner goes dark.

Dimensional Exploration, the permanent roguelike announced in the same showcase, is thematically CZN-shaped (nodes, relics, three-hero starts) but it is a later, separate PvE mode, not the collab ticket. Details sit on Dimensional Exploration. Do not wait for the collab to “unlock the roguelike.” Do not skip the collab because the roguelike is late.

Bookmark math for September

Anniversary accounts are rich in Covenant bookmarks and poor in attention. A practical order:

1. Keep logging for the 20 daily Covenant summons through 29 October. Those pulls are for your Covenant wishlist, not for Haru.
2. Finish Uncharted Pioneer Politis’s Drop Rate Up (3 September) only if she is actually on that wishlist.
3. Hold limited currency for Haru and Mei Lin once their weeks are dated. Limited banners do not wait for you to “see the kit on Reddit.”
4. Claim Renoa on every character you still play. Collab frees that expire are the one mistake you cannot undo with Skystones.
5. Do not Mystic-pity a side project the night before a limited week unless Lisette is the account’s actual RTA plan.

Codes that drop during collab streams still belong on the codes hub. They will not substitute for limited pity.

What this collab is not

It is not a full CZN client inside Epic Seven. You will not import decks, Partners, or Epiphanies. It is not a Steam-only event; mobile and STOVE PC get the same banners. It is not automatic Champion food: collab units have a long history of being either must-pick or wardrobe. Wait for the tier list after the first week of replays rather than pre-building six sets of unused Speed gear.
