Epic Seven Arena, World Arena, and Call of Chaos

Epic Seven is an online PvP game as much as it is a Hunt game. Arena, World Arena, Guild Wars, and World Boss all exist on the live servers and all pay currency you will spend on gear and bookmarks. The mistake new accounts make is treating the first gold-rank push like a World Championship prelim. Automatic Arena is a weekly chore. Real-time draft is a gear check. The 8th anniversary’s Call of Chaos is a 3v3 sidecar. This page is the process. Names and bans belong on the PvP tier list and the Moonlight tier list.

If your Speed boots still came from a story chest, read gear and equipment and farm Wyvern before you spend MolaGora on a cleaver. Pity and banners that feed PvP units are on summons and pity.

Automatic Arena (the flags)

Arena is not real-time. You set a four-unit defense, then attack other defenses with a four-unit offense. Wins pay conquest points. Rank pays a weekly chest. That is the mode.

Play it from the moment it unlocks:

• Use the daily flags. Unused flags are wasted conquest, not a strategy.
• Put a bulky cleanser or Knight in the front if you are still in bronze–gold. Offense that lives through one extra turn beats a glass cleave that dies to a counter.
• Defense should be annoying, not expensive. Early accounts can park Angelica / A.Mont, a CR pusher, and whoever has the most HP. You will get farmed. That is fine. You are here for the weekly box, not for Emperor.
• Stop refreshing the list for “perfect” defenses. Five ordinary wins beat one failed 30-second search.

Weekly shop priority for a PvE-first account: charms and catalysts over Mystic Medals until Hunt is automatic. Mystic Medals are how you chase Moonlights such as Lisette, but a Speed set you can actually wear will climb more Arena ranks than a naked ML5.

Epic Seven World Arena draft habits

World Arena (RTA)

World Arena is live draft: pick-ban against another player, then a real-time fight. Pre-ban, first pick, and the last pick are the game. Combat is still Combat Readiness — whoever built faster units on better Speed gear takes the extra turn. That is why the speed tuning tool matters more than a copied “meta cleave” screenshot.

Do not enter ranked RTA on week one. You will donate points and learn nothing except that 280 Speed openers exist. Practice in friendlies or low-stakes normals once you have:

• Two Speed-set openers you can actually tune.
• One cleanser who is not also your only Hunt tank.
• One unit who can strip or unbuffable, because Immunity set is everywhere.

Draft habits that survive seasons:

• First-pick a unit you can play from either side, not a specialist who needs three specific partners.
• Ban the thing that deletes your plan, not the thing that is “S-tier” on a list you have not built.
• Do not greed a last-pick DPS if you still have no CR push.
• Lisette (Light Soul Weaver, Mystic, 8th anniversary) is a rewind / revive problem in PvP. Time Reversal needs Divinity still on her; extinction kits (Briar Witch Iseria, Sinful Angelica, Hecate) cut the recursion. If you own her, she is a draft around a mechanic, not a fourth Hunt healer.

Warfare rules rotate and swing entire classes. Read the current season rule before you copy last season’s Knight core. E7WC 2026 prelims start mid-September toward November finals — that is for people who already live in Champion, not for accounts still unlocking Otherworldly Hunt.

Call of Chaos (3v3)

The 8th anniversary added The Call of Chaos, a World Arena mode that is not four-unit RTA:

• 3v3 real-time.
• Goal: destroy the opponent’s rear-guard Guardian / Sentinel first, not necessarily a full team wipe.
• Mid-fight you pick a Fate — a packaged buff or debuff that swings the round.
• Fast pick-ban (about a minute, a few rerolls).
• Entry is a Ticket of Chaos. The fall 2026 season ran from 27 August through 8 October 2026 as a challenge ladder: better rewards at more wins, runs end at 7 wins or 3 losses.

Play it for the shop currency and for fun. Do not mola a third copy of a 3v3 specialist if your Wyvern team still shares one Speed set. Patch framing is on the 8th anniversary update.

Guild Wars and World Boss

Guild Wars is three one-unit fights against another guild’s defenses. World Boss is a raid-style dump of damage with your guild. Both require a guild that actually hits the buttons. Join one. Use leftover Hunt units. Do not build a unique Guild War monster until you have extra gear after Otherworldly is printing.

What early accounts should not do

• Do not six-skill a cleave opener “for Arena” before Furious and the Hunt cleanser are skilled. MolaGora does not refund.
• Do not buy the Arena weekly Mystic pack if you still need charms. Charms roll the Speed boots that win flags.
• Do not copy a Champion defense with four Moonlights you do not own. The AI will still lose if the Speed is fake.
• Do not skip automatic Arena because RTA looks cooler. Flags are the only PvP that pays you for showing up.

Steam players, when the client launches later in 2026, play the same Arena on the linked STOVE account. There is no separate PvP world. Keyboard and mouse change the clicks, not the CR math.

Weekly conquest is a shopping list, not a rank identity. Spend the box on charms while your average Speed boot is still in the teens, then shift a slice into Mystic Medals once Otherworldly is queued in Background Battling. The player who hits every flag in gold with a tuned 220 Speed Angelica will out-earn the player who sits in silver waiting for a Moonlight to make RTA “feel ready.” Climb the chore. Draft later. Chaos tickets are a dessert course after Hunt has already fed the account.
