Epic Seven Updates

Epic Seven has been live globally since 8 November 2018. This hub is not a launch countdown. It is the patch map for accounts that already farm Hunt, sit in Arena, and now have to absorb the 8th anniversary INFINITY client. The showcase dropped on 22 August 2026 (YouTube 5INH3c-b-g0). The playable update landed 27 August 2026. Steam’s store page opened the same weekend as the showcase; the Steam client is still scheduled for later in 2026. Cross-play with STOVE PC and mobile continues. Prices stay the same.

Coupon strings and STOVE redemption do not belong in patch notes. Use the codes hub. Day-one systems (Connections, Selective Summon, energy) stay on guides.

What actually shipped on 27 August 2026

The anniversary client is a systems patch wearing a story costume. Paradise Lost is a fully voiced side episode set in the 1st World, covering Kayron’s human days before he became an Acolyte. Lisette entered as a Light Soul Weaver (Moonlight) built around Divinity stacks and Time Reversal. Uncharted Pioneer Politis is a separate Drop Rate Up on 3 September 2026, not a 27 August mailbox unit. Background Battling now continues while the app is closed; duration uses your real clear times, and you can register a large Leif stack (showcase math was up to 100 Leif, roughly 400 runs). Auto-sell and auto-extract sit on the Hunt result screen so Otherworldly drops do not fill the bag unread. The Call of Chaos is a 3v3 World Arena mode: destroy the enemy Sentinel / Guardian, spend Fate mid-fight, stop at 7 wins or 3 losses.

Dimensional Exploration, the permanent roguelike, was announced in the same showcase and is later, not a 27 August button. Do not sit in the lobby looking for it. If a date is missing from that table, it is not confirmed here. Steam’s exact client day is still “later in 2026” on the store page.

Events versus patches

A patch changes the client: new skills, new modes, auto-sell, offline farming. An event is a timer on top of that client: daily summons, coin shops, login skins, E7WC drops. Missing a patch means you lack a button. Missing an event means you lack mail. The 1,260 summons are an event. Call of Chaos is a patch. Treat them differently when you plan energy.

Competitive calendar

E7WC 2026 starts with in-game qualifiers on 12 September and ends with a 28 November stage show in Jamsil. Stream drops sometimes become coupons; those strings still go through STOVE, not through this hub. Ranked Arena and World Arena rules did not vanish because Call of Chaos exists. If you only wanted a lighter 3v3, use Call of Chaos. If you wanted Champion frames, you still draft in the modes covered by the Arena guide.

How to use these pages

Returning players: open 8th anniversary INFINITY, turn on Background Battling, set auto-extract, then spend the 20 daily pulls with a filled wishlist. Brand-new installs: guides first, then come back. Steam-only readers: the game you already play on the phone is the same RPG; Steam only answers linking, worlds, and controllers.

When Smilegate ships the next named client, this hub gets a new child page. We do not rewrite history into the anniversary article. That is how you keep Paradise Lost from turning into a dumping ground for every later banner.
