Moonlight Blessing in Epic Seven
A loaned ML5, a one-time reset, and a second pool after Episode 2. Lock nothing until the kit is a job you need.
Moonlight Blessing is the New Era lobby track that loans a Moonlight 5-star from a small pool. The unit is temporary until you finish the attached quests and lock one in. A second Blessing opens after Episode 2 Chapter 8 plus the Fallen Land story under Moonlight Theater — different pool, harder choice. This is not Galaxy summon. This is not Mystic. This is a one-account decision you cannot undo with Skystones. Read getting started for the rest of day one. This page is only the lock.
Blessing 1: farm speed versus a real healer
The common 2026 line is to borrow Arbiter Vildred for early farming speed, then use the one-time Blessing reset to swap into Ruele of Light before you lock. Arbiter Vildred goes twice and deletes story packs. He is QoL. He is not a Hunt tank and he is not a soul weaver. If you finish his quests, the loan can harden into a lock you did not mean to take.
Ruele of Light is a healer, cleanser, and reviver. Exclusive equipment from Hall of Trials makes her a PvP staple. New accounts that pick her and then build Free Spirit Tieria have a PvE spine that is not a 4-star Montmorancy forever. If you already have Angelica or Destina six-skilled, Arby-as-farmer is the more honest first loan.
Do not finish Arby’s quests if you plan to swap. The reset exists so you can test the farmer, then keep the healer. Use it. The Moonlight tier list is the name dump after you lock; it does not pick for you.
Blessing 2: wait
The second pool is gated. Episode 2 Chapter 8 plus Fallen Land is not a weekend. Do not rush story on empty energy to open it. Hunt Leifs still pay more than a second ML5 you cannot gear. When it opens, read every name in the pool in-client. A 2026 snapshot that says “always Ruele” may be talking about Blessing 1.
Genesis Ras is a separate lobby questline, not Blessing. Do not spend the Blessing lock on a unit the Restoration Missions will hand you later.
What Blessing is not
It is not a substitute for Selective Summon. It is not Lisette (Mystic, 27 August 2026). It is not Uncharted Pioneer Politis (Covenant pickup, 3 September 2026). Mixing those three in one panic session is how you own three unfinished 5-stars and no Wyvern team.
Imprints, exclusive equipment, and artifacts still need Hunt. A locked Ruele in story boots is a pretty mailbox.
A lock checklist
- Bind the account. Redeem codes. Finish Selective.
- Loan Arby if story and Connections are slow. Do not finish his quests.
- Build one Ice Hunt core. Get one clear. Turn on Background Battling.
- If you lack a revive healer, reset Blessing into Ruele and lock. If Destina / Angelica already exists, lock Arby or whoever actually farms.
- Ignore Blessing 2 until Episode 2 is natural, not forced.
- After the lock, spend molas on that one unit, not on the next banner preview.
