Epic Seven Tools

Epic Seven is a gear RPG that pretends to be a story RPG. The 8th anniversary added offline Background Battling and auto-sell, which means you can now lose a month of Otherworldly drops to a bad filter while the app is closed. This hub is the short list of tools that stop that: a speed tuning checklist for Combat Readiness, a gear score page for sell / extract thresholds, and the unofficial apps people already use. None of them replace gear or Arena. They sit on top.

This wiki does not ship a JavaScript optimizer. If you want a solver, you leave the site. If you want the rules the solver is approximating, you stay here.

What to open first

1. Speed tuning — CR bar, the 5+ Speed gap rule of thumb, why Wyvern is a CR-push puzzle and RTA is a speed contest.
2. Gear score — how the in-game Equipment Score number is built, what “high score” means on Otherworldly Hunt, and the auto-sell settings the 27 August client finally put on the result screen.
3. Gear guide — sets, main stats, reforges. Read it before you trust a score.
4. Arena — where those Speed numbers actually get used.
5. Links — official STOVE, coupon page, Steam, plus the community index.

If you only came here because a YouTube overlay said “gear score 70,” start on the gear-score page. If you only came here because your Furious keeps moving after Sigret, start on speed tuning.

Unofficial tools (not affiliated)

Veterans keep four names in a browser bookmark folder. This wiki is not affiliated with any of them. They can be wrong, they can lag a patch, they can ask for an export of your account. Use them as calculators, not as Smilegate.

• Fribbel’s optimizer — the standard PC optimizer. You export hero + gear, ask it for a set that hits Speed / effectiveness / crit floors, and it brute-forces inventory. It does not know your Wyvern CR plan unless you type the floors.
• epic7x — long-running kit database, CR tutorials, and patch write-ups. Good for “what does this skill actually do.”
• epic7db — hero pages, Fribbels aggregates, and community guides. Good for “what Speed are people actually running.”
• e7rtabot — RTA replay / pick statistics. Good for “is this unit actually first-picked this week,” bad for Hunt.

If a site asks you to paste a password, stop. STOVE membership numbers already leak enough. Optimizer exports should be hero JSON, not account credentials.

What a “tool” is allowed to decide

A tool can tell you whether two Speed values will contest. It cannot tell you whether you should be cleaving. A tool can tell you a piece is 88 Equipment Score. It cannot tell you that 88 of flat Attack on a Soul Weaver is useful. The 8th anniversary auto-sell filter will happily delete a 4-Speed boot that a human would have kept for a Hunt tank. That is why the two child pages on this hub are checklists, not score worship.

After INFINITY

Background Battling will run hundreds of Otherworldly Hunt waves while you sleep. That is the first time in years the bag can fill without you seeing a single drop. Set auto-extract before you queue 100 Leif. Keep Otherworldly tagged as keep. Extract boots. Sell true trash. Then look at the remaining high scores with a human eye: Speed, effectiveness, and the right main stat beat a raw number.

Call of Chaos 3v3 will also tempt people to throw random Speed sets onto three units and queue. The speed-tuning page still applies: if your opener and your breaker are within 4 Speed, Fate will not save the turn order.

How this hub stays small on purpose

We are not going to host a damage calculator that dies every balance patch, a live RTA overlay, or a script installer. Those belong on community links. This category exists so Combat Readiness and Equipment Score have a URL that is not buried in a 2,000-word gear essay. When Smilegate adds another in-client filter — a new auto-sell axis, a visible CR log, a Steam overlay — it gets a paragraph here, not a new product.

Use the two checklists, export to Fribbel’s if you must, then go back into the game. A spreadsheet that is never equipped is just a second inventory.
