Salome Hero Build

Salome is the Fire 5-star Moonlight Warrior released in 2026, summonable through both Covenant and Moonlight banners. Her kit revolves around two ideas: she copies a target ally for one turn through her S2 (Salvation), and her S3 (Nggdrasil’s Judgment) deals damage that scales with her max Health, not her Attack. She is one of the few PvE bruisers that wants HP/Defense gear instead of the usual Attack/Crit spread, and she slots cleanly into Hell Raid, Expeditions, and the longer Abyss floors. Her S1 also triggers a Dual Attack from the highest-attack ally on every cast, so she does not need to ramp up to feel relevant in the second turn. She also appears in the PvE tier list and the Moonlight ranks.

Salvation (S2) is the kit’s most disruptive piece. On a 5-turn cooldown, with a +2 soul cost, she grants herself a skill nullifier and then clones a target hero other than herself for 1 turn. The clone keeps the original’s appearance and abilities, but uses Salome’s separate skill cooldowns. The cloned hero effectively gets an extra action. Used offensively that means an extra enemy cleave. Used defensively it means an extra soul-weaver ultimate. The skill also grants Salome an extra turn, so the cast itself is free tempo. Nggdrasil’s Judgment (S3) is the 5-turn, +3-soul ultimate that lands a 100% Decreased Defense for 2 turns (ignoring Effect Resistance when soulburned at -10 souls) plus additional damage that scales with max Health. Both sources of damage scale with HP, which is why Salome wants HP-scaling gear instead of Attack scaling. If you run Hunt, this is not your build — Salome does not contribute to a Wyvern 13 one-shot. If you run Expeditions, Hell Raid, or Abyss, she is on the short list.

Why Salome is meta in 2026

The Propelrc tier list for September 2026 places Salome at SS-tier PvE because of three things stacked together: percentage-based damage that bypasses gear scaling on long fights, a kit that wants HP-scaling gear (cheaper to build than Attack-scaling bruisers in a game where Speed set is universal), and a defensive option that converts her into a different hero on demand. Her S3 also ignores Effect Resistance when soulburned, so she lands the defense break on the Effect-Resistance tanks that newer 2026 bosses ship with.

For most players she is the first bruiser built after the Hunt core. The Hunt core — Furious / Sigret / Muwi / Tamarinne — gives you Speed set and Critical set; once those are stable, the next gear goal is HP/Defense set with HP% / Defense% / Effect Resistance substats. Salome runs that spread natively, and her S3 damage scales with the HP stat you already stacked for the soul weaver.

Skill kit

S3 — Nggdrasil’s Judgment (5-turn, +3 souls)

Attacks the enemy with the power of Nggdrasil, with a 100% chance to inflict Decreased Defense for 2 turns and deals additional damage to the target. Damage dealt and additional damage increase proportional to the caster’s max Health. Soulburn (-10 souls) ignores Effect Resistance on the debuff. Skill-ups raise the effect chance and damage; max skill-ups cap the effect chance at 100% even before soulburn.

This is the reason to build Salome. The defense break lands on a 100% chance without soulburn. The damage scales with HP — a 20,000 HP Salome with a maxed S3 is hitting harder than a 3,000 Attack bruiser with a comparable Attack-scaling kit. Pair her with a soul-weaver ultimate and she kills the boss inside one rotation.

S2 — Salvation (5-turn, +2 souls)

Releases divinity, granting skill nullifier once to the caster, and cloning a target hero except for the caster for 1 turn. Grants an extra turn. The clone uses Salome’s separate skill cooldowns. Skill-ups reduce the cooldown; at +6 the cooldown drops to 4 turns, which lines up cleanly with a one-clone-per-fight rhythm in Hell Raid.

Salvation is the answer to “what if my soul weaver is on cooldown?”. Clone a soul weaver and you get a free heal/cleanse/buff turn. Clone a defense breaker and you reset the debuff uptime. The skill nullifier protects Salome from being interrupted before the cast resolves, which is the standard counter to non-soulweaver cleavers in RTA. The extra turn means she keeps tempo even when the cloned ally would normally burn one cycle to come back online.

S1 — Corrupted Divinity (no cooldown, +1 soul)

Single-target attack that triggers a Dual Attack from the ally with the highest Attack. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster’s max Health. Soulburn reduces the cost; skill-ups raise the damage. The Dual Attack triggers on every cast, which means Salome functions as a low-grade dual-attack enabler in Expeditions where she shares frontline with a 5-star DPS carry.

Stat priority

Salome is a HP-scaling bruiser. The stat priority is HP%, Defense%, Speed, Effect Resistance.

  • HP%: target 18,000–22,000 effective HP. The S3 damage scales with max Health, so every 1,000 HP adds meaningful damage.
  • Defense%: target 1,200+ if you are running her on a tankier Expedition slot. The Defense set is overkill on her — Health set is preferred.
  • Speed: target 160–180. She does not need to be fast. The S2 extra turn covers her tempo.
  • Effect Resistance: target 100% if the team relies on her to land the S3 against Effect-Resistance-stacked bosses. Soulburn already ignores Effect Resistance, but you cannot soulburn every turn.
  • Attack: not a priority. Her damage scales with HP, not Attack.

Artifacts: Elbris is the bruiser default for the extra turn cycling. Tome of Life is the dedicated HP-scaling bruiser artifact and pairs cleanly with her S3. Aurius is the wrong artifact — she is not a Knight and she does not want Defense% as her primary scaling.

Skill-ups

S3 first — Nggdrasil’s Judgment is the kit. The defense break chance and the HP-scaling damage both rise with skill-ups. +6 minimum on S3. S2 next — Salvation’s cooldown reduction matters for the clone rhythm. S1 last — Corrupted Divinity is filler dual-attack enable.

MolaGora budget: dump into S3 until +6. +15 if she is your Hell Raid carry. S2 to +3 for the cooldown relief.

Team fit

Salome fits the same PvE slots that Tamarinne anchors, but she brings HP-scaling damage instead of soul-weaver utility. The 2026 templates:

  • Hell Raid Advent: Salome + Tamarinne + Fallen Cecilia + Specter Tenebria. Salome replaces the role that Aramintha or Hwayoung used to fill — a sustained HP-scaling bruiser that lands defense break.
  • Expedition 5: Salome + Tamarinne + Bellona + Commander Lorina. Salome carries the Fire Expedition slot with HP-scaling damage that ignores boss Defense scaling.
  • Abyss 100+: Salome + Iseria + DPS + DPS. The Iseria cooldown reset lines up with Salome’s S2 Salvation for a double-ultimate rotation.

She is not an Arena pick in the cleave meta of 2026. She is not a Hunt unit. She is not a Moonlight priority over Lisette or Briar Witch Iseria if you play RTA. For PvE she is on the short list.

Counters to Salome

Salome is strong but not uncounterable.

  • Extinction: a Briar Witch Iseria passive turns off her revival if you build the secondary kit around it. She does not have revive on her own kit, but the HP-scaling bruiser role means your team is built around her survival — kill her and the rotation collapses.
  • Burst before turn 1: a 280 Speed cleave with a defense-break opener can land on Salome before she acts. Her S2 does not protect her entry turn.
  • Skill nullifier on Salvation: if the enemy soul weaver dispels before S2 lands, the clone never triggers. Bring an immunity buffer or a faster soul weaver.

What not to do

  • Do not put Daydream Joker on Salome. It is a Hunt DPS artifact. Salome scales with HP.
  • Do not build Attack on her. Her damage scales with max Health, not Attack.
  • Do not use her in Hunt 13. She is not a Hunt DPS. The Hunt core wants Sigret, Furious, Alexa, and a soul weaver.
  • Do not skip S3 molas. S3 is the entire damage kit.

Salome is the 2026 HP-scaling bruiser for Hell Raid and Expeditions. The PvE tier list ranks her SS-tier. The Hell Raid guide lists her as a priority bruiser replacement for the older Aramintha/Hwayoung core. The Moonlight ranks tell you how to spend Mystic medals if she is your PvE pull. If you have already built your Hunt core and your soul-weaver core, Salome is the next bruiser to skill.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers Heirs search for every patch.

Is Salome worth pulling in 2026?

Yes if you already have a Hunt core and a soul-weaver core. She is the next bruiser to build — HP-scaling damage that fits Hell Raid and Expeditions without Attack-scaling gear.

What artifact does Salome want?

Tome of Life for HP-scaling bruiser artifact. Elbris for extra turn cycling. Do not put Daydream Joker on her — she is not a Hunt DPS.

Is Salome good in RTA?

She is a PvE bruiser. The 2026 RTA meta prefers faster control units (Frieren, Rinak, Setsuka). Bring Salome to Hell Raid, Expeditions, and Abyss, not Arena or RTA.

What stats does Salome need?

HP% (18,000–22,000 effective HP), Defense%, Speed (160–180), Effect Resistance. Attack is not a priority — her S3 scales with max Health.
