She is a Directional Tribe martial artist in the Chaos Zero Nightmare source material, and her Epic Seven adaptation carries that identity as a support Soul Weaver with team immunity and Combat Readiness manipulation. • Team immunity: her kit likely grants team-wide immunity — a standard Soul Weaver tool that protects against openers like basar, Destina, or AoE strippers.
• CR boost: Directional Tribe martial arts in CZN translate to Combat Readiness manipulation in Epic Seven — pushing allies’ CR forward so Haru can cast S3 sooner and Lenoa can execute faster.
• Secondary healing or barrier: most Epic Seven Soul Weavers provide some form of HP recovery or shield; Mei Lin likely has one or both to keep the CZN team alive through sustained fights.

Mei Lin is a Soul Weaver in Epic Seven. The stat priority follows the standard Soul Weaver template:

• Speed: Soul Weavers need to act before the opponents’ openers. Target 220–260 for consistent pre-empt.
• Effect Resistance: against teams with heavy strippers, resistance keeps her casting. Target 80–100%.
• Health %: survival stat that keeps her alive through sustained fights.
• Defense %: secondary survival stat.

Collab synergy

Mei Lin, Haru, and Lenoa are designed as a team. Their kits complement each other:

• Lenoa strips buffs and executes with a CR multiplier.
• Haru applies sustained damage and strips residual buffs after Lenoa’s execute.
• Mei Lin provides immunity, CR boosts, and support utility to keep the team cycling.

If you are pulling both limited banners, Mei Lin is the Soul Weaver that makes the other two work. She is the support anchor of the CZN team.

Skill-ups

S3 first — the ultimate is the primary support tool (immunity, CR boost, or whatever the main buff is). S2 next — the secondary skill where most Soul Weavers have their heal, barrier, or passive. S1 last — the basic heal or utility filler.

Counters

• Briar Witch Iseria or other extinction units — if Mei Lin provides revive or extends the team’s survival, extinction shuts that down.
• Heavy strip teams — if her immunity is dispelled before she can cast it, the CZN team is vulnerable to openers.
• Speed teams — if the enemy opens faster than Mei Lin can pre-empt with immunity, the CZN team takes damage before the synergy kicks in.

What not to do

• Do not put Daydream Joker on Mei Lin. It is a Hunt artifact. She is a Soul Weaver.
• Do not build Mei Lin as a primary DPS. She is a support unit. Her value is in utility, not damage numbers.
• Do not skip Lenoa’s free track to pull Mei Lin. Lenoa is free and account-defining. Mei Lin costs limited pity.
