Eye of the Abyss Fumyr Hero Kit

Eye of the Abyss Fumyr is the limited Summer 2026 Earth Mage, available through 16 July 2026. She arrived alongside the Epic Dash campaign and the Special Side Story Show Me What Lies Within, set on the Aelo Coast. She is not a damage dealer. She is a tempo engine whose S3 Detains — temporarily removes — the foremost enemy hero from the battlefield entirely, with no resistance check. That sentence is the entire reason to pull her. Sources: E7Baron, epic7db.com, Hideout Guides, and LDPlayer build notes, all verified against the Summer 2026 patch cycle.

What Detain actually does

Detain is not extinction, not封印 (seal), and not a stun. It is a temporary removal — the target is gone from the battlefield for the duration and cannot be targeted, cannot act, and cannot receive buffs or debuffs. When the effect ends, the unit returns in the same position with the same HP and buffs it had before Detain. CR push and CR ties are unaffected — the rest of the enemy team still cycles. A unit that was at 80% CR when Detained comes back at 80% CR.

The Detain cannot be resisted. There is no Effect Resistance check, no immunity check, no artifact that blocks it. If Fumyr casts S3 and the target is in the foremost enemy position, they leave. That is the mechanic.

S3 — Eye of the Abyss (the Detain)

After a short cast, Fumyr Detains the foremost enemy Hero for a set duration. The foremost is the unit in the first position from the enemy’s left — the same targeting logic as an Aurius Knight or a single-target dispel. If no hero occupies the first slot (empty slot, summon, or structure), the skill still fires but has no valid target.

S3 also deals damage to the Detained target proportional to Fumyr’s Attack and inflicts a CR push backward on the entire enemy team. The CR push is the secondary reward: even if you do not kill what comes back, you have bought a full turn of cycling advantage.

S2 — Bottomless Malice (passive)

At the end of each ally’s turn, if Fumyr has Abyss Energy, she consumes one to deal extra damage to the enemy with the lowest HP and push that enemy’s CR backward. The passive rewards her for being alive and cycling — it is not a setup button, it is a follow-up reward. The Abyss Energy stacks are generated by S1.

S1 — Raging Current

Attacks one enemy, generates one Abyss Energy, and has a chance to push the target’s CR backward. Abyss Energy feeds S2. The soulburn version increases damage and guarantees the CR push. S1 is the filler that keeps S2 live.

Why Fumyr matters in 2026 RTA

The foremost-enemy targeting is a constraint, not a bug. In a standard draft, the unit in position 1 is often the opener — the 280 Speed Knight, the Aurius carrier, the immunity buffer. Removing that unit for a turn means:

  • The enemy’s follow-up openers act without the Knight’s defense buff.
  • The CR push from S3 lands while the enemy team is already cycling down.
  • The Detained unit returns at the same CR it left — but the board state has changed.

Fumyr is not a cleave. She is a disruption pick that buys time against standard openers. Pair her with a fast soul weaver who can cycle back before the Detained unit returns.

Artifacts and stats

Rhinoceros Horn or Etc’s Scroll for the extra turn that lines up with S3 cast timing. Alteil is a damage alternative if you are running her as a secondary DPS.

Stat priority: Speed, Attack %, Crit rate, Effect Resistance.

  • Speed: she wants to cast S3 before the enemy opener finishes cycling. Target 220+.
  • Attack %: S3 damage scales with her Attack stat.
  • Crit rate: standard 65-70% for consistent S1 damage.
  • Effect Resistance: moderate (20-40%) — Detain cannot be resisted, but her S2 and S1 can be blocked.

Skill-ups

S3 first — Detain is the reason to own her. S2 next — the passive CR push is the follow-up reward. S1 last — S1 generates Abyss Energy, which feeds S2.

MolaGora budget: S3 to +6 minimum for damage and duration. S2 to +3 for the passive CR push bonus.

What not to do

  • Do not pick Fumyr into teams with no meaningful position-1 target. If the enemy runs a flex or a fast 4-man cleave with no fixed opener, Detain is a wasted skill.
  • Do not put Daydream Joker on Fumyr. It is a Hunt artifact. She is a tempo Mage, not a Hunt DPS.
  • Do not expect her to clear Hunt 13. She is PvP disruption, not a farming unit.
  • Do not use Epic Dash rewards on Fumyr builds — the Epic Dash track pays for other account-defining pulls.

Fumyr is the Summer 2026 limited Mage with Detain. The Epic Dash event covers the reward track. The PvP tier list shows where disruption picks sit in the draft order. The Summons and pity page covers limited banner pity math. If you are building a tempo control team, pair her with Lisette for the CR cycle advantage.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers Heirs search for every patch.

Is Detain the same as extinction?

No. Detained units return after the duration ends. Extinction kills permanently. Detain cannot be resisted.

When did Fumyr's banner run?

Limited Summer 2026, roughly June–July 2026 alongside the Epic Dash event. She is not a permanent addition.

What does Detain target?

The foremost enemy Hero — position 1 from the enemy's left. No target means the skill fires but has no effect.

Is Fumyr a Hunt unit?

No. She is a PvP disruption Mage. Do not use Epic Dash rewards on Hunt builds.
